Kenwood KMC-49 Public Safety Microphone with Antenna Connector
Kenwood is introducing the KMC-49 speaker microphone with flexible antenna for 5x10 series P25
portables. The KMC-49 was designed for Public Safety mission critical users who desire a remote mic
mounted antenna. It has exceptional receive and transmission characteristics and is housed in a rugged MILSPEC
C / D / E and F casing. The KMC-49 is RF-compatible with VHF, UHF and 700 / 800 MHz portables.

1. Coax length is designed for TK-5x10(G) and TK-5410 portables only (VER3), does not fit TK-x180 / NX portables
2. Coax TX loss = less than 1.7 dB
3. Coil cord length is approx. 32 inch (extended), 20 inch (retracted)
4. Clip length is approx. 1.5 inch
5. The coax SMA connector may not be suitable for all applications or users- especially those that remove the speaker microphone or change audio accessories on a daily or frequent basis
