The programming cable is designed to connect an Icom transceiver/receiver and a PC for data cloning using Icom cloning software.
Can installed with Microsoft® Windows® 10/8.1 (32/64 bit).
New version of cable, OPC-478UD, is now available.
NOTE:
There are two different OPC-478UCs:
• One has no marks on the label
• One has a “-1” or "B" marked on the label
The new OPC-478UC-1 NOT usable with Microsoft® Windows® XP. Can NOT used with "RT" versions of 8.1.
The previous (unmarked) OPC-478UC is NOT usable with Microsoft® Windows 8.1 and 10.
The USB drivers for earlier versions of programming cable that do not have a “-1” in the model name (OPC-478UC) are NOT compatible with USB drivers with a “-1” in the model name (OPC-478UC-1).
If the automatic USB driver installation is not successful, download the driver from the Icom website.
