Antenna band width is 1 MHz. For KENWOOD TK-190 radio
The TK-190 antenna must be cut per the antennas cutting chart and instructions. Failure to do so will result in a poorly matched antenna, poor performance and most probably excessive and damage in the transmitters final power amplifier circuit.
Introducing the Field Tunable Antenna for TK-190 Series, an essential accessory for low-band portable transceivers. The KRA-21 comes from the factory center tuned to 29.7 MHz. However, if you desire a different frequency within the range of 29.7 to 50 MHz, it can easily be achieved by trimming the upper section of the antenna. For accurate length determination, start by removing the cap from the antenna.
Please note that due to production tolerances, not all antennas will have the exact same length when tuned to the same frequency. To provide an estimated frequency for a completed antenna, we have attached a helpful chart.
