Midian Electronics VS-1200-ST1 Frequency Domain Tactical Level Voice Scrambler

The VS-1200-ST1 (Land-Line Telephone) is a tactical level, high security voice scrambler that protects voice communications over standard analog phone lines using Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology. The analog voice audio is digitized and a proprietary method of scrambling that employs what is known as the fast Fourier transform (FFT) is applied. The scrambled data that results is converted back from the "frequency" domain to the "time" analog audio domain for transmission over the telephone line.

Applications

Midian's voice scramblers are ideal for use by armed forces, public safety (police, fire, ambulance), fleets (taxi, towing, fishing), doctors, lawyers, bankers and investors.

Can be used with most office telephone systems that employ standard RJ-9 connectors.




Midian Electronics manufactures voice encryption and tone signaling devices for Two-Way radio for use by Public Safety users. Products include plug-in scramblers for radios such as Motorola, Vertex, Maxon, Tait, & Icom, Two-Tone & DTMF encoders and decoders for emergency alarms, and products compatible with Motorola's MDC-1200 signaling format.

Midian's tone signaling and encryption products fit a wide variety of applications. They are used by public safety (police, fire, and ambulance), fleet (taxi, towing, fishing, etc.), government, industrial, and OEM users.
