Midian Electronics VS-1200-SC1 Frequency Domain Tactical Level Voice Scrambler

The VS-1200-SC1 (Cellular Phone) is a tactical level, high security voice scrambler that protects voice communications over Cellular voice networks using Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology. The analog voice audio is digitized and a proprietary method of scrambling that employs what is known as the fast Fourier transform (FFT) is applied. The scrambled data that results is converted back from the "frequency" domain to the "time" analog audio domain for transmission over the Cellular voice network.

Applications

Midian's voice scramblers are ideal for use by armed forces, public safety, fleets, industrial users, doctors, lawyers, bankers and investors.

Recommended for direct analog voice insertion on 3G GSM (AT&T^™, T-Mobile^™).

Not recommended for direct analog voice insertion on a 3G CDMA (Verizon^™) cellular system as the vocoding process on this type of system can only pass true unmodified human speech.

After downloading and through testing we have found that this product works extremely well on both 4G LTE CDMA and 4G LTE GSM systems using the free VoIP software application available from SKYPE^™.
