Midian Electronics TVS-2V-HS1 Frequency Hopping / Rolling Code Scrambler

Midian Electronics' TVS-2V series of tactical high-security rolling code voice scramblers offers protection against even determined listeners. By using true frequency hopping rather than frequency sweeping, Midian's TVS-2V offers higher security than competitive rolling code voice scramblers. While competitive rolling code scramblers claim up to 1,000 hops per second, each of these hops are only a cycle or two in length. Midian's TVS-2V hops 6 to 12 times per second in standard mode and 13 to 25 times per second in advanced mode. Each hop is several hundred cycles in length.

The TVS-2V Series and Midian's CAD-300 Computer-Aided Dispatch also offer features such as selective calling, spy and disable using Midian's Kryptic signaling format.

Features:

- Uses true frequency hopping rather than frequency sweeping
- Tactical level secure voice scrambler protects against determined listeners
- Trillions of programmable security keys
- Programmable double hop rate for higher security
- Automatically detects scrambled or clear conversation
- Preamble tone for use in voting systems
- The H250 handset derives power from the center pin on the U-329 connector on many newer Manpack Radios
- Excellent recovered audio quality & speaker recognition
- 3 year warranty

Applications

The TVS-2V-HS1-MIL is ideal for government (i.e. military) and public safety users who are using manpack radios.

Installation

Midian's TVS-2V-HS1-MIL H-250 encrypted handset is available for most manpack radios such as the PRC1077, PRC77, PRC155, PRC25 and more. Different connector configurations are also available for other manpack radios.

The TVS-2V-HS1-MIL does not require any modifications to the repeater and have no effect on the range of the radio. Midian's voice scramblers are well known in the industry as offering the best audio quality and speaker recognition.

The H250-PROG is used for easy PC programming of Midian's Military H-250 Handsets (with or without GPS).

 Additional Information:
Midian Electronics manufactures secure voice, GPS-GLONASS microphones and handsets that can simply connect to the manpack radio in place of its existing handset. We also manufacture secure voice modules that can be installed inside many miltary manpack radios.

These products can be used on older manpack radios that don't offer encryption and GPS-GLONASS capability. They may also be used on newer manpack radios as a low cost alternative to the manufactuers imbedded GPS-GLONASS and voice encryption options. Additionally, we offer a simplex repeater maker that can be used to re-broadcast messages into hard to reach areas and voice alarm encoding microphones that permit the user to create an emergency voice message which can be activated by an emergency button or the man-down/lone worker accelerometer sensor.

Midian's Secure Voice and GPS-GLONASS Speaker Microphones, H-250U military handsets and modules can be used on many different model PRC miltary manpacks. These products can be used on older manpack radios that don't offer encryption and GPS options. They can also be used on newer manpack radios as a low cost alternative to the options offered by the manufactuers.
