IS-1 Option C is an optional DTMF, 5-Tone, 2-Tone or Pulse Tone decoder to activate and deactivate the unit from field radios using the keypad on the radio or an ANI sequence on a dedicated channel. Option for IS-1 switch only

Products include plug-in scramblers for radios such as Motorola, Vertex, Maxon, Tait, & Icom, Two-Tone & DTMF encoders and decoders for emergency alarms, and products compatible with Motorola's MDC-1200 signaling format.

Midian's tone signaling and encryption products fit a wide variety of applications. They are used by public safety (police, fire, and ambulance), fleet (taxi, towing, fishing, etc.), government, industrial, and OEM users.
