Midian Electronics DDU-300 Kryptic ANI Display Decoder & Encoder with Local Remote Control
Midian Electronics' DDU-300 is a desktop display decoder for Midian's proprietary signaling format, Kryptic. Not only does the DDU decode and display the incoming ANI, but it also displays an alias and the time of the ANI. The DDU-300 can also encode five-tone for features such as selective calling of field units and Deadbeat Disable for lost, stolen, or non-paying units. The DDU-300 has a database capacity of 125 units for using aliases, selective calling, and Deadbeat Disable. The DDU features an internal microphone and speaker for use as an extended local remote.

Applications
Midian's DDU-300 is ideal for monitoring and controlling radio communications in fleets, such as public safety, taxi, towing, etc. The DDU can also be used to control a remotely located base station radio up to several hundred feet away.
Installation
The DDU-300 can be fitted with most any base station radio.
