Telewave TWPC-7908 Bandpass Cavity Filters
Telewave TWPC-7908-1 and -2 are 8” diameter, ¼-wavelength high-Q bandpass cavity filters with excellent selectivity. They pass a narrow band (776-825 MHz) while rejecting everything else, suppressing transmitter sideband noise and protecting receivers from desensitization.
Factory-tuned with positive locking for fast field retuning. Adjustable coupling sets insertion loss from 0.5 dB to 2+ dB to optimize selectivity. The -2 model delivers superior performance with low loss in high-density sites; multiple cavities can widen the passband. Mounting rails included for multi-cavity setups.
Temperature-stable (-30°C to +70°C) thanks to machined compensator and Invar rod. Ground Loop design grounds coupling loops at DC for lightning protection and noise reduction.
Rugged construction: ¼-inch aluminum top plates heliarc-welded to body, rated up to 350 W (depending on loss). Alodined finish and matched metals prevent corrosion. Silver-plated tuners and beryllium copper contacts ensure low-loss, long-term reliability.
