Telewave ANT220D6-9 Base Dipole Antenna
The Telewave ANT220D series features an array of single, dual, and 4-element dipole antennas equipped with a precision phasing harness to ensure optimal performance. The horizontal pattern of the antenna can be adjusted in the field to meet any present or future coverage needs. These antennas are characterized by their wide bandwidth and high efficiency, making them suitable for a variety of uses such as wireless PTC, trunking, business communications, public safety, and amateur radio.
Each dipole element is crafted from 6061-T6 aluminum and is welded at the base to enhance strength. Additionally, every antenna is thoroughly coated with Telewave's advanced Txylan™ coating, which prevents water and ice accumulation and offers superior protection against corrosive gases, UV rays, salt spray, acid rain, and windblown particles. The phasing harness is securely sealed using Telewave’s Millenium Seal™ technology.
All components are connected to DC ground for protection against lightning strikes. Each dipole element comes with a robust custom clamp set, designed to mount on a 1.5”-2.5” diameter galvanized steel support pipe or tower leg.
Models D3 or D6-9 can be adjusted to have up to 15 degrees of electrical uptilt or downtilt, which must be specified at the time of order. Customers are encouraged to consult with our antenna engineering team to discuss the desired tilt angle.
