Telewave ANT490D Dipole Antenna
The Telewave ANT90D is a durable, high-performance single dipole antenna designed specifically for the FM broadcast band. It provides 20 MHz bandwidth without the need for tuning. Its horizontal pattern is adjustable, and multiple elements can be stacked to increase gain and enhance pattern control, making it ideal for LPFM and translator stations for fill-in or small-market coverage.
Each dipole element is built with 6061-T6 aluminum and is welded at the base for maximum strength. Protected by Telewave’s high-tech Txylan™ coating, the antenna is resistant to water and ice buildup and offers superior protection from corrosive gases, UV radiation, salt spray, acid rain, and wind-blown abrasives.
All components are at DC ground potential, ensuring protection against lightning. The included
ANTC482 clamp set allows for secure mounting to a galvanized steel support pipe or tower leg with a diameter of 1.5" to 3.5". For multiple-element arrays, electrical uptilt or downtilt of up to 15 degrees can be specified. Desired tilt angle should be provided with the order, and consultation with Telewave's antenna engineering team is recommended.
