The Telewave TGA Series in-line preamplifiers use PHEMT technology to amplify low-level RF signals by up to 18 dB. These preamplifiers are primarily designed to enhance the noise figure of receiver systems, compensating for signal losses from splitters or long coaxial cable runs. They also boost signal levels for spectrum analyzers and other testing equipment.
Each TGA preamplifier is housed in a durable, RF-shielded aluminum enclosure. The DC input is protected against reverse polarity and includes a high-pass filter to reduce radio frequency interference (RFI).
Note: These preamplifiers are intended for receiver applications only and are not designed to handle transmitter power levels.
