The Telewave TPRC-xxxx-1 and TPRC-xxxx-2 are high-performance, ¼-wavelength Pass-Reject cavities, designed with adjustable coupling loops and tuning capacitors. These cavities deliver precise signal filtering, rejecting frequencies outside a narrow passband while providing a tunable notch for enhanced protection, especially in environments with close frequency spacing. They are widely used to mitigate transmitter sideband noise and safeguard receivers from desensitization.
Pre-Tuned Frequencies
Each cavity is tuned to specified frequencies before shipping, requiring no additional adjustments. For frequency changes, the cavities include a positive locking mechanism for quick and easy field re-tuning.
High Frequency Stability
Engineered with a specially machined compensator and Invar rod, the cavities ensure excellent temperature stability from -30°C to +70°C.
Telewave Ground Loop Technology
This unique technology ensures the center conductor of each coupling loop is at DC ground potential, offering enhanced lightning protection and reduced noise.
Robust Construction
Top plates are crafted from ¼-inch aluminum and heliarc welded for improved conductivity and durability. Silver-plated tuners, beryllium copper finger stock, and alodined aluminum components prevent galvanic corrosion and provide reliable, low-loss connections. Rigid foam inserts support vertical or horizontal mounting, and mounting rails are included for multi-cavity filters.
Telewave TPRC cavities are ideal for sites requiring high selectivity, such as reducing transmitter noise, preventing receiver desensitization, and ensuring reliable performance in densely populated frequency environments. Multiple cavities can also be combined for a wider passband when necessary.
These high-quality, durable filters are a critical component for reliable communications in harsh conditions or demanding multi-user sites.
Prices include interconnect cables and mounting rails or panels for all models with more than one cavity. All cavities are provided with standard N connectors. UHF connectors are available upon request. 7-16 DIN connectors are available at extra cost. All cavities are factory tuned to customer-specified frequencies, set to 50 ohms impedance.
