The Telewave TPRD duplexers enable a transmitter and a receiver to operate simultaneously using a single antenna. Their Pass-Reject configuration incorporates a bandpass filter with an adjustable notch specifically tuned to the receiver's frequency, enhancing performance even when frequencies are closely spaced.
Telewave's high-quality construction of cavity duplexers ensures improved rejection of any unwanted transmitter signals, offering enhanced protection for the receiver. Both the selectivity and the insertion loss can be fine-tuned by rotating the precisely calibrated connector loops.
The cavities in Telewave duplexers are constructed from ¼-inch thick aluminum top plates, which are permanently welded to the aluminum outer conductor for durability. The use of silver-plated tuners, beryllium copper finger stock contactors, and Invar tuning rods with threads guarantees maximum stability under temperature fluctuations, a higher quality factor ("Q"), and reliable performance over many years.
Additional Information:The TPRD-1344C and 1344CM duplexers offer high-quality performance tailored for the 118-136 MHz VHF Air band, all within a compact form factor. These units are a mere one-third the size of previous models yet provide comparable functionality.
Achieving 70 dB of isolation at a frequency separation of 600 KHz, these duplexers come with a power handling capability of 350 watts and maintain an insertion loss of no more than 1.5 dB. They are designed to fit neatly into a standard 19-inch rack system, with the TPRD-1344C and 1344CM having rack heights of 5.25 inches and 4 inches, respectively.
For added versatility, the TPRD-1344CM model includes adjustable mounting tabs, making it easy to install within a cabinet.
