Telewave TWNC-7608 Notch Cavity Filters
Telewave TWNC-7608-1 is an 8” diameter, ¼-wavelength notch cavity with adjustable coupling loop. It rejects a specific frequency with minimal loss outside the notch band. Often paired with pass or pass/reject cavities; Telewave can “tilt” the notch close to a pass frequency without impacting pass response.
Covers 763-869 MHz. Factory-tuned with positive locking for easy field retuning. Adjustable coupling optimizes selectivity. Dual-cavity setups enhance rejection with low insertion loss at busy sites; multiple units widen the notch. Mounting rails included for multi-cavity systems.
Temperature-stable (-30°C to +70°C) via machined compensator and Invar rod. Ground Loop design grounds coupling loops at DC for lightning protection and noise reduction. Durable build: ¼-inch aluminum top plates heliarc-welded to body, rated for 350 W. Alodined finish and similar metals prevent corrosion. Silver-plated tuners and beryllium copper contacts ensure low-loss, long-term reliability.
