Telewave TWPC-2205 Bandpass Cavity Filters
Telewave TWPC-2205-1, 2205-2, and 2205-3 are 5” diameter, ¼-wave, high-Q bandpass cavity filters with outstanding selectivity. They block all signals outside a narrow passband, cutting transmitter sideband noise and protecting receivers from desensitization.
Covering 200-300 MHz, each cavity is factory-tuned to the specified frequency. A positive-locking mechanism allows quick field retuning if needed. Adjustable coupling lets insertion loss be set from 0.5 dB to 2+ dB for optimal selectivity in any environment. The 2205-2 (dual) and 2205-3 (triple) models offer superior rejection with minimal loss at crowded sites. Multiple cavities can be combined for wider passbands; mounting rails are included.
Frequency stability from -30°C to +70°C is ensured by a precision compensator and Invar rod. Telewave Ground Loop technology grounds coupling loops at DC for lightning protection and noise reduction.
Built tough: ¼-inch aluminum top plates heliarc-welded at high-current points, handling up to 350 W. Foam-supported tuners permit vertical or horizontal mounting. Alodined aluminum, silver-plated tuners, and beryllium-copper contacts prevent corrosion and guarantee long-term, low-loss performance.
