Item Details:
Telewave TWR24, TWR32 -2R Series Compact Receiver Panels
The Telewave 2R Compact Receiver Distribution Panels are ideal for medium- to high-density sites, providing a streamlined solution for feeding multiple receivers from a single antenna. This design reduces costs, minimizes tower loading, and ensures consistent signal quality, enhanced output isolation, and increased output levels.
Each panel integrates a power supply, an inline low-noise preamplifier, and three or four 8-way splitters, all contained within a single 19-inch tray. The preamplifier delivers up to +12 dB of system gain, effectively compensating for splitting and cable losses. Despite their compact 2RU size, these panels provide full performance and are built with sufficient bandwidth to cover entire commercial or Public Safety frequency bands.
Telewave 2R panels are designed for easy scalability, allowing new panels to connect directly to existing systems without requiring additional components or tuning. For optimal performance, filtering between the receiver panel and the antenna is often necessary. Telewave offers a range of preselector systems to meet these needs for both transmitters and receivers.
The panels employ high-quality splitters to deliver 24 or 32 matched 50-ohm outputs from a single input, with typical port-to-port isolation of 25 dB. The antenna port features a matching network to ensure balanced input performance.
Each unit includes a specially designed power supply that supports both AC and DC power sources. The internal DC circuitry maintains a constant output voltage while accommodating external input voltages ranging from +11.5 VDC to +15 VDC. This ensures that the preamplifier operates at optimal gain, compression, and intercept points. For lower DC inputs, as low as +9.5 VDC, an external DC-DC converter can be used. This flexibility makes the system suitable for use with batteries, solar panels, or thermal generators.
The 2R series ships standard with a low-noise bipolar preamplifier (excluding TT models). Optional upgrades include PHEMT preamplifiers for reduced noise, high 3rd-order intercept preamplifiers for congested RF sites, redundant preamplifiers for enhanced reliability in remote locations, and broadband preamplifiers for multi-band applications.
Telewave 2R Receiver Panels are engineered to provide exceptional performance and reliability, making them an excellent choice for receiver distribution systems in demanding environments.

Notes:
1. All unused ports should be terminated with a 50-ohm load. The
TWL-01 RF terminator is recommended for this purpose.
2. Panel gain is measured from the input port to any output port and is factory-adjusted based on specific system requirements. If not specified, the standard gain is set to 6 dB.
3. Tuning range and bandwidth depend on the frequency band and system components.
4. Exact frequencies and system gain must be provided when placing an order.
