PRYME BTH-TA5 Bluetooth Adapter for Muff Headsets

The PRYMEBLU BTH-TA5 headset adapter is compatible with many wired muff headsets made by different manufacturers. To be compatible, the headset must use a Switchcraft TA5 connector with industry standard wiring.

Additionally, the headset must use a low-voltage type microphone element such as an electret-condenser type with a bias voltage requirement of 1.5 VDC or less. Microphone cartridges with a higher voltage requirement (such as 3 or 5 VDC) are not compatible with the PRYMEBLU BTH-TA5.


Compatible Models from PRYME

PRYME makes two muff headsets which are compatible with the BTH-TA5 adapter.

MC-EMAIR - This headset is fully compatible with the BTH-TA5 adapter.
HDS-EM-B/C - This headset is compatible with the BTH-TA5 but the high-gain (electret) microphone cartridge must be used, not the noise-cancelling (dynamic) microphone.
