NXR-901 900MHz repeaters are integrated systems. The NXR-901 repeater occupies 1 RU, and is a 360 mW transceiver unit used with an external power amplifier. The NXR-901 can be programmed to operate in the analog mode at 12.5 KHz, and in the digital mode at 12.5 KHz or 6.25 KHz.
Station options include external amplifiers, wire line remote control, and power supply options such as integrated SmartCharger and
Low Voltage Disconnect for battery backup applications. High performance 4 cavity BpBr duplexers are also listed, while multi-channel
combining systems are quoted on an individual system basis.
Mounting options include 20 RU (42") and 40 RU (77") locking cabinets in addition to 17 RU (3') and 45 RU (7') open equipment racks.
Amplifier choices include 40W, 80W and 130W options with a 2RU 40A or 70A switching power supply.
Options required for trunking include enabling of the NXR-900 trunking feature plus system management software that includes a master USB key & activation file, which hold a license ID unique to each system. Feature-packed System Manager software provides full access to system parameters, permissions, log files, etc. Secondary, restricted-level service keys that manage less critical system parameters are also available.
Each trunking system, including single-site systems, will require an Ethernet switch/router. This router will also serve as the multi-site network interface when required.
