KENWOOD NEXEDGE NXR-710 High Performance Base Stations and Repeaters
NXR-710 VHF Repeaters and Base Stations are integrated systems. The NXR-710 repeater occupies 2 RU and may be used as a
standalone 25 W continuous or 50W intermittent duty station or in conjunction with an external power amplifier. The NXR-710 can be programmed to operate in the analog mode at 25 KHz or 12.5 KHz, and in the digital mode at 12.5 KHz or 6.25 KHz.
Station options include external amplifiers with built-in T/R antenna switching for simplex operation, wire line remote control, and power supply options such as integrated SmartCharger and low voltage disconnect for battery backup applications. High performance 6 cavity BpBr duplexers are also listed, while multi-channel combining systems are quoted on an individual system basis.
Mounting options include 20 RU (42") and 40 RU (77") locking cabinets in addition to 17 RU (3') and 45 RU (7') open equipment racks. Basic NXR710 repeater configuration includes an internally mounted 20A, 13.8VDC switching power supply (47-63Hz, 115 or 230VAC); 50W and 110W amplifier options include upgrade to 40A switching power supply (40A model occupies 2 RU), while a 150W amplifier option includes an upgrade to a 2 RU, 70A switching power supply. Custom configurations are also available.
Specify frequencies, channel bandwidth, tone assignments, and any special instructions with equipment order. Pre-selectors, multi-couplers, combiners, outdoor cabinets, and other items are available by special order.
