Family Radio Service (FRS) Frequencies

Listed below are frequencies and corresponding channels used in the Family Radio Service communication devices. FRS is a recent group of radio spectrum users, created by the Federal Communication Commission, in the United States.

Portable FRS radios do not require licenses when they are used within areas covered by the FCC jurisdiction. There are 14 available channels, where output RF power should not exceed 0.5 Watts.
