The vehicle adaptor (VA) has been developed for users who want to use their
GP Professional Series VHF radio on the move. Once installed the radio just
'clicks' into place and can be connected to an external antenna, microphone,
PTT and and personal computer via a MAP27 interface (MPT1327 models
only). The VA also detects the battery chemistry of the radio and selects the
best charging method automatically. Includes ENLN4103 VHF antenna
adapter.

Detects the chemistry of the portable battery and select the optimum
charging method while providing power for in-vehicle use.

Has added audio power to drive an external speaker, plus car radio mute signal (CRMS) output.

Antenna adapter allows automatic switching to an external vehicle-mounted antenna (sold separately).

technical installation manual, cables, programming software.
